"Larrayambu" by Wanapati Yunupiŋu - Photogrammetry scan

I scanned one of the larger pieces of work for the NATSIAA 2022 exhibition. This piece stands at over 2.75 meters tall. Check out some of the scanning footage of me doing the "shuffle".

In Ancestral times, the leaders of Yirritja moiety clans used fire for the first time during a ceremony at Ŋalarrwuy in Gumatj Country. This came about as fire brought to the Madarrpa, by Bäru the Ancestral crocodile, spread north and swept through the ceremonial ground.
